Welcome to the website of champion trainer, Mary Loden. Located in Springfield, Ohio, Loden Reining Horses offers training, sales, and riding lessons in many disciplines.
Those who know Mary will agree that she is extremely passionate about her horses, their care, and their training.
Mary's training experiences have taken her from Ohio to Arizona and back to Ohio where she and husband, Will, are also breeding select mares and producing outstanding, athletic Arabians. She has trained and successfully shown many breeds including Arabians, Half Arabians, and Quarter Horses in all disciplines.
Having grown up showing Arabians, Mary's love of the working western horses lead her to Al-Marah Arabians in Tucson, Arizona, where she was an apprentice with former head trainer, Gary Ferguson of Sulphur Springs, Texas. When she returned to Ohio she became the assistant trainer for Duane Esser of Esser Valley Arabians.
In 2004 she opened her own training business and became the head trainer at Stowe Arabians. Mary has continued to polish her reining skills by riding with winning NRHA trainers such as All-American Quarter Horse Congress Champion, Brandon Brandt and Bob Salyers,
Patient and talented at breaking young horses, Mary's tenacity is now helping her succeed in the Arabian reining, sport horse, hunter, and western arenas.
